Exploring the Price-Performance Ratio of Shanxis Practical Textiles: A Value-Driven Analysis
This paper aims to analyze the price-performance ratio of practical textiles in Shanxi, China. Through a value-driven approach, we examine how this ratio reflects the overall competitiveness and attractiveness of these products in both the domestic and international market.Our research findings reveal that there is a significant difference in the price-performance ratio across different types of practical textiles in Shanxi. For instance, while cotton fabric has a higher price-performance ratio than synthetic fibers, it still lags behind other regions with lower production costs. Moreover, we found that the price-performance ratio tends to be lower for products with longer fiber length, suggesting that there may be opportunities for improving productivity and reducing costs.Furthermore, we conducted a comparative analysis of Shanxi's practical textiles with those from other regions, including China, Japan, Korea, and Europe. Our results indicate that while Shanxi's practical textiles have some advantages over their competitors in terms of quality and diversity, they often fall short in terms of price and competitiveness.Overall, our study emphasizes the importance of balancing value creation with competitiveness in the development of practical textiles in Shanxi. By adopting value-driven strategies such as improving productivity, reducing costs, and enhancing product differentiation, Shanxi can position its practical textiles industry as more competitive and attractive in both local and international markets.
