Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across the plant, including but not limited to power generators, transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and lights. Other duties may include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and replacing electrical components as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical System Maintenance: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems throughout the plant.

Carry Out Regular Inspections: Perform periodic inspections of electrical equipment and systems to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.

Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical problems encountered during production or at other times.

Install New Electrical Equipment: Install and configure new electrical equipment as required.

Maintain Record of Work: Keep accurate records of work performed, including repairs and maintenance tasks.

Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while working on electrical equipment or systems.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical engineering or a similar role.

Knowledge of electrical codes and standards is necessary.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Excellent communication skills.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as they emerge.

Certificate in Electrical Safety Certification Board (ESCB) Level A or equivalent is preferred.
